About Us

Chaos In Control is a groove-metal band from Sundsvall, Sweden. Inspired by bands such as Lamb Of God, Pantera, Meshuggah, Suicide Silence, Korn and Entombed. Chaos in Control's sound is a blend of death metal, hardcore, groove-metal and the tolerable parts of nu-metal and metalcore.

The band started as a school project between the guitarist, Gunnar and the singer, Oliver. Shortly after the band started, Hugo (drums) and Adam (bass) joined to complete the CIC lineup. After that the band practically moved into their rehearsal space for the next 9 months, before having their first show. Since then the band has been playing live all over Sweden, and even going to the finals in the Swedish Wacken Metal Battle, where their guitarist won a prize for best guitar player.

Whilst all of this was happening, Chaos In Control also recorded their debut album Idols Crushed As We Remain. Produced and recorded entirely by the band itself, with mixing and mastering help from Ronnie Björnström (Meshuggah, Aeon, Kvaen and more).

Chaos In Control's second album "Constant State Of Catharsis" is also now out on all streaming services. Produced and recorded by the band itself. The album was mixed and mastered by the Ronnie Bjornstrom, just like the album before.
